This blog is very timely as we observe the state of the world today. What is taking place is the result of mans action and God's divine judgement. It is as it was in the days of Noah. Sin is out of control and that great Nation or civilization has fallen. As one world passes away another is on the rise. The intent of this blog is to foster harmony through dialog. My eternal prayer is that we share and learn from eachother in a spirit of brotherhood. We are called to build God's Kingdom here on earth. It has been a long time coming but the time is at hand for the Genesis resurrection.
My suggestion is that we all read Genesis Chpt. 1,2,3 again and consider what we were taught, before we comment. We should search for common ground rather than focusing on our differences. So my dear brothers and sisters let the dialog begin and pray that the Holy spirit will guide us. Shalom, shalom!

True, there are many issues not completely addressed, and I'm not attempting to bring them up either (smile); but the Council is of significance and widely used in the justification of discarding New Testament understanding. Forgive me for bringing up the Council at this late date, it was my intent to have discussed this already.
Thanks for sharing that my book was used in that manner, and to some degree, compliments were cited. As far as any disagreements about conclusions reached in the book, I would the relish an opportunity to defend my work...for the record and I certainly hope you enjoy it Milton. There were several unaddressed issues in our dialog and yes it is the Council of Nicea which I clearly knew as I wrote the comment and didn't go back to fix it, before posting. I will get back to you after I review the link. Oh! Your book was used as a reference source several months ago in a class I attended. I don't remember the points that were raised but the speaker was complimentry. He agreed with some of the information and critical of some of the conclusions. I can't make any personal comments until I read your book.

Brother Milton I agree that other points of view are needed and welcomed by us, this conversation opened with several participants but may end with our dialog. I have submitted a friends request and would be honored if you accept. It has been a delightful discussion and I admire your articulation and presentation.
I think we most certainly agree on western theology's attempt at usurping our African biblical heritage into an on-going European saga, to the exclusion of the overwhelming black presence in the Bible.
Again, I applaud loudly what has taken place in Dimona over the past 40 years or so, which cannot be taken away...it reminds me of the Falasha Mura and there final acceptance into the Holy Land by proselyte Jews. And peace be with you Brother Milton.

Brother Clyde there really isn't much more for you and I to say at this point. What is needed is input with other points of view. The theology that came out of western Europe has been used to control our people all over the world. It has been said that in some parts of Africa, if a white man is seen on the way to church, one can go home because he has seen God. We die for the lack of knowledge.
It is a wonderful thing when men can dialog on the level of our discussion and say that we agree to disagree. My faith is a way of life for me and study is a conorstone of the faith. Our land , language and culture was taken from us. It is in this day and time that we have been re- established in the holyland. Once again we have a land, language and culture. While we wait to see what the end is going to be we must be ever watchful of the signs.
We are counting the days until the "Feast of Weeks". My dear brother it is very fulfilling to know that we are doing what YAH asked us to do, throughout the generations. In accordance with the word of YAH.
