It is weak Big Sis. Just don't laugh - squirk, squirk, squirk. (You know what I mean....hahahaha). And don't cough during the cold season. I'll have to call the Fire Dept. and let them know one of their water faucet has a leak on Knob Hill "Morris" Dr...Huge HAHAHAHAHA! Ain't nothing changed but the weather. It's raining, it's raining....etc...hehaw
I feel like I'm talking to myself here. I've responses from 3 of my besties......Gloria, Fred, and Deb.
Where are the rest of you, my buddies, classmates, schoolmates.
We've all gotten older, a little feebler, losing memory, less mobile, lots of aches and pains.
Lets all join in here and laugh at ourselves. I laugh at myself all the time. I start toward the bathroom before I know I have to go. Because when I know I have to go, I might not get there in time. Bladder seems weaker at times....LOL
Buddy Smart Dog, a "thought" can turn into an "explosion" of wonderful ideas and discussions....and this is a wonderful and "fun" idea. Everybody needs a "Dear Smart Dog, on the "flip side" of a Dear Abbey. So yes I'm in and here are my questions?
Dear Smart Dog: I came into a hefty inheritance and I don't know how I should handle all of this money. Should I put it in the bank or should I put it underneath my mattress or should I invest it all? What do you think?
Question # 2: What will it take to get these young boys to pull up their pants when in public? It is so embarrassing to see them walking down the street or in the grocery store holding them up with one hand and on their cell phone with the other hand. Some of them I have approached...but you must be careful in your choice...and I politely told them that it didn't look nice to see their underwear. One guy pulled his up and walked away, but later I saw him in the grocery store and they had fallen back down again. Smart Dog, what can we do? This is a long time...way overdue...complaint..."that is not new"... that many of us have been suffering with our young youths. Some say it is a "fade" but fades only last for so long...so to me...it is no longer a fade? What is your view?
Well, I've often wondered about the making of the "Smartdog Welcome Letter," now I know; great job guys. Not only did I enjoy reading the entire thread, but thoughts came to mind that is should be required reading. Please smartdogs, don't act on that, it was just a thought, okay, lol....don't need folks mad at me:-). Seriously though, the production process of taking Fred's idea and having back and forth dialogue, until consensus based resolution was reached, is clearly, our African roots. Here is an excerpt and link from a research source we are using:
...In contrast, most Africans prefer decisions to emerge through timeless consultation, until participants can reach consensus. To be sure, an African executive can make snap judgments as swiftly as Americans can. Nonetheless, he is likely to remain aware of obligations to his extended family or clan. By acting alone, he flaunts that clan's collective wisdom. By consulting, he honors it. Did you know that Jeff Fuller who played football for the San Francisco 49ER is William Fuller's son?
