A TRUE WOMAN OF GOD
In Memory of Thelma Wells
March 31, 1941 - October 9, 2022
Listen to her life story in "His Glorious Grace" Cd.
On October 9, 2022, Thelma Wells (aka Mama T) went to sing with the Saints and I can only imagine the "hallelujah" welcome she received from Jesus,, George Wells (her husband of 59 years), her Granny Sarah Harrell that raised her from an infant when she was already 60, and so many women, men and children from around the world that heard her preach on LOVE, FAMILY AND THE GOODNESS OF OUR FATHER.

Thelma Wells Bio
Known as "Mama T," Thelma Wells is now Celebrating with Jesus. Her life was a life of a WINNER. Born to an unwed cripple girl in 1941, she beat the odds against poverty because her great grandmother took her to raise her at the age of two and taught her to love and honor Jesus Christ. When she was abused by her grandmother who would put her in the closet under the guise that "she didn't want to iron to fall on her," she won that battle by "SINGING" in the closet. As a young adult, she was the first black woman hired at John Deere Company as a secretary. Then her career advanced, she was the first Black officer of a national bank called NorthPark National. She left there to pursue a very prominent and successful public speaking career creating Thelma Wells & Associates. After many years are a corporate speaker and trainer, God moved her big smile, warm hugs, and olive-tree wisdom into the Christian speaking arena where she spoke for the internationally renown Women of Faith. She was featured in D Magazine, Southern Living, The Dallas Business Journal, The Dallas Morning News, Significant Living and many more publications and TV shows including Dr. Phil, The Joanie Show, Life Today and the 700 Club.
