Adoration to GOD

I REFUSE

I refuse to be discouraged, To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be downhearted, and here’s the reason why:
I have a God who’s mighty, sovereign and supreme;
I have a God who loves me, and I am on His team.
He is all wise and powerful. Jesus is His name;
Though everything is changeable, My God remains the same.
My God knows all that’s happening; beginning to the end;
His presence is my comfort; He is my dearest Friend.
When sickness comes to weaken me, to bring my head down low,
I call upon my mighty God; into His arms I go.
When circumstances threaten to rob me of my peace;
He draws me closer unto His breast, where all my strivings cease.
When my heart melts within me, and weakness takes control;
He gathers me into His arms, He soothes my heart and soul.
The great “I AM” is with me. My life is in His hand.
The “Son of the Lord” is my hope. It’s in His strength I stand.
I refuse to be defeated. My eyes are on my God;
He has promised to be with me. As through this life I trod.
I’m looking past all my circumstances, To Heavens’ throne above;
I give God thanks in every thing. My eyes are on His face;
The battle’s His, the victory mine; He’ll help me win the race.

Deb & my BFF, thank you both for commenting, this dialogue is a intricate part of our Christian walk, and it's something that we as a family should have at least once each day...... God has been so good to us all, in spite of our life challenges......  we still have so much to be thankful for..... Jesus has interceded for our prayers for our campus family... and this circle remains unbroken... As Deb said, this is the time of year when our thoughts turn to loved ones that are no longer with us, and it's very easy to have a feeling of gloom and sadness.... so... soldiers, we have a job to do.. When I'm being attentive to my friends and family it helps me so much by decreasing my since of sadness and loneliness.. I love you guys, and let us remember to always include our other BTW family when we're commenting and posting!!

Beautiful!!!   Now, I refuse to not read this everyday to reinforce my spirit, beliefs, strength, faith, fortitude, resolves, my  walk, circumstances, and my ills.  He puts in your path, those things you need.  Who am I to

question him!!!!   Thanks sis!!  YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU, but like you say...its always  good to hear...you are loved!!!

Hello our Spiritual Leader. Your postings are so needed, especially as many of us are going through things that we know that only God can handle.  Even as the holiday season approaches and many, [like myself,] are reminded of our loved ones...Daddy and Madear-My Mother and Winnie-My Sister... who are not present with us on Earth, and will not be with us (my family) during this season. But you know Glo. my memories keep my heart filled with joy and admiration, that I had these loved ones in my LIFE, because they all served a purpose to groom me, to inspire me, to lift me, to nurture me, to LOVE me, to listen to me, to advise me, to guide me and to TRUST me. Those are ALL blessings that last forever and ever...and for that I am thankful. May this season bring you more 'THANKFULNESS AND LOVE' to pass on to others, [as you always do], who may night even know what LOVE is. 

 

Yes, I love you...and yes...saying those words come easy for me...and I don't hold back those words...because I do LOVE all of my sisters and brothers because that is what 'Thus said the Lord.'  We should love one another...and I will ABIDE.

Thanks brother, sweet pea..... the Lord has really been heavily in my spirit lately... I'm praying that my walk will inspire all of us to show more love and kindness toward each other.. to support, love, walk with through the good and the bad, be there.... and please don't forget the "I Love You's), it helps the giver  and the receiver... I don't know anyone that doesn't like to hear those words......

I'm not ashamed  or embaraassed to say it    ... you guy's know I love you!!
