Sad to say my Mother's Day memories are all over the place. As a child my mother was call to glory at an early age in my life . I don't recall receiving that mothers love that my sons, were so bless to receive in our home. I can remember me my brother and sister being the only kids wearing white carnations on mothers day and how bad I wanted a red one like the other kids. I can rememhttps://btwdallas.ning.com/profile/FredWalkerber taking my carnation off an keeping it in my pocket. I saw the love of a mother first hand in my home, with the rearing of my two sons. It made me realize the value of a mothers love. I see that love ,mothers love shared with adults children, I have seen that bond broken late in ones life. Like I said I'm all over the place , but a mother love is a child classroom . I learn in that class rooms in the short time I was blessed with a mother, s Mother are important.Happy Mothers Day to all you beautiful Mothers you are a jewel!

Buddy, I am thankful and grateful that I CAN still remember my mother's voice....especially when she used to call all of us Young girls to come in the house when we were underneath the Big light, down by Sonny Giles house...to come on in because it was getting dark. I do remember my mother hand making red and white carnations every Mother's Day and we would go around the neighborhood selling them for a think a nickel and a dime. (The dime was for the larger carnations that all the children's parents wore.) We always wore the red ones, but as of 2006 I have worn a white one so I do know what you mean. (Excuse me ya'll while I go get a kleenex. ) Now I'm back! But I know that Madear will always wear her red carnation in Heaven. "Heaven, ole sweet Heaven. the place where we all shall meet. Heaven, ole sweet Heaven, the place where everything will be New. Heaven, ole sweet Heaven, that's where I want to be."
May God Be the Glory and may all of the MOTHER'S and GRANDMOTHERS all around this world be cherished and remembered as Mother's who bore the pain in delivery and who sat beside our besides when we were sick. The Mother's who fixed the ouches and little boo boo's and who always wiped our tears away.
Madear, as I speak to you today, I miss you and I think of you daily as I look at your pictures that adorn the walls of my house so that I never forget you as your pictures aged from the 20's through the 2000 years, I still see your beauty even as the wrinkles appeared on some of your most recent pictures. But you are still my/our Madear and I love you so. I thank the Lord for letting us have you for 87 years and leaving behind us memories that no one can take away nor duplicate, because you are one of a kind.
So campus family.............and Buddy thanks for allowing us to have this conversation and to share our memories of that special lady.....Our MOTHERS.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO YOU ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD MOTHER'S DAY TODAY AND EVERY DAY.
Love ya, Deb
I remember my mothers face ,but I have tried for years to remember the sound of her voice,I can't and it's something I live with . Our God don't make mistake but he makes Grandmothers. To be a Grandmother mean you had to be a mother.Thank God for my GRANDMOTHER!
Fred this very beautiful.
I am not a mother but I can remember the love of MY "MOTHER". She has been gone for over 25 years, but seem like yesterday. I truly miss her. I would love for her to be here with me. I do know that's there is nothing like a mother love. So I would like to say to all.
"HAPPY MOTHER DAY"
Love Dot.
