The only fighter, black or white, who brought a world championship to Dallas, Texas. Born June 15, 1937. Ernie Banks: Nicknamed "Mr Cub" for his outstanding talent on the baseball field with the Chicago Cubs and an MVP winner. William "Bill" Blair, a team mate of Ernie Banks before Banks was drafted out of the Negro League. Blair could hold his own and was an outstanding pitcher inducted into the Negro Hall of Fame.

"The dog's got the bone and gone." I remember when we went to the Nationals and our mile relay team ran a 3:21 mile relay in the State.
The Bulldogs were a formidable force to be reconed with in those days.
