  The young man behind me. Name is Danny, he ran the open class, his 100 meter time was 10.3, sent to camp for the Houston Olilers that year. the young man in the green hat, is Chris Darkens, he went to the Deroit Loins

  Galen, my brother, I swim like a fish. I still dive, but the twist and turns are long gone. Boy how I remember those days.

  Tweet, I swim pretty good but I float like a rock ... that was true when my playing weight was 140. Now it's 200 so we're talking h-e-a-v-i-e-r r-o-c-k. Since I never swam nearly as fast as I ran it's possible everybody's 14-year-old granddaughter might outswim me. So If I'm there in October I'll just cheer you on! ~~~~ What I would REALLY like to do is learn to DIVE competitively. All those twists and turns and half-gainers and such might take lots of practice, but I'd be willing to work at it if my teacher thought I'd stand a chance to make a good showing. .... We'll see ....
