I have so much respect for the House of Patton that I felt funny...[due to respect]... walking trhough the main entrance of this building when I was in high school. Infact, we were not allowed to walk through those doors. Only the parents and guest were allowed to enter through these doors. I finally entered these front doors after I graduated from school, because at that time, the City of Dallas was making it a Landmark. I was there for the dedication and it was an honor to enter those glorious doors that opened to a Hall of Fame, filled with pictures of the: Football, track, basketball, golf and baseball teams. All those students who excelled in these sports were ear marks for other students to see and to reach for. I wil always remember that prestigious hallway. And for those who did enter those doors will recall that Dr. Patton's office was located to the left, and to the right was Ms. Young's class and Ms. Butler's classrooms...if memory serves me correctly. Oh the good old days...they were a lot of good wonderful ones, that will long be remembered. What are your thoughts classmates? Tell us your dreams and thoughts of yester-years gone by.
