    Gary was a big hearted sweet boy back in the day.  Always smiling and just being nice!  And that's how he was remembered at his Homegoing Celebration yesterday.  Love you, Cousin....

    Gary sat next to me in Mrs. Denson's art class my first year at Booker T.  ... I was in 8th grade and he was a Junior. For some reason, likely no money, I had no crayons. Art class required more than the 8-colors box and it seems Gary had one with about 32-colors. For about a month I guess, Gary let me use colors from his box to do our art assignments. In my experience with him, Gary had a kind heart and a very friendly personality. Upper classmen like him made moving from B.F. Darrell to the 'BTW BIG TIME' a much easier journey.
