Thank you my dear and long time friend and brother of the Young Family.  Buddy, you have always been so near, dear and special to my entire family and we just love you dearly.  Even the days of old are always days of anew for me because we never lost connection.  Your beautiful thoughts of my sister Mary are so appreciated by my entire family and we just love you so and do so many of the campus family.  You are always there when needed.  You can always get the word out and share it and pass it on to those who have not heard.  You are a trooper within itself.  I am so blessed to have you as a brother and a friend and I just want the whole world to know this while I live and speak.  I share my love with you and your family and thanks for always being My Buddy!

Love ya, Deb Young Love - Your sister at 3512 Alonzo Place and 3618 Alonzo place.  We moved to a bigger apartment next door to Robert Simpson and his sister Rachel Simpson..

  • Deborah where do I start, your family has been apart of my life for well over sixty years.I can remember my Grandmother sending me down to the Young's to borrow two dollars to  make out the balance of  our rent. I can remember Mr Young walking pass my house daily after getting off work.I remember Winnie and all her little sisters, what a proud family, what a loving family. This connection started with the friendship of my Grandmother and Mrs Young . Winnie being my classmates my cousin Dimple and Juanita being best friends.  The Young family stood out because it was a large family with all girls.Similar to the Pennies a large family with all boys. The roads of life have sent us in different directions, but not our friendships. The Young's last name have change but you have all  maintain the  respect and  the values taught you from our days on Alonzo Place. These values have been passed on to your families. Dear God have us understand that there's a lesson in all of your works ,even death , death can help  create a store house of memories far beyond our imagination , Dear God we know the chain has lost a beautiful and loving link  , in your word we know you are right by our side. God you called Mary home this mother ,wife, sister and friend to so many  she will be missed. Dear God lift Bo's  up, let him witness your powers give him the strength he never knew he processed, have him glorify your name .Let us wait on tomorrow , it's your word dear God and I believe Joy will come . Bless all the sisters and their husbands ,have them come together as one.Dear God place it on their hearts to know , that  the BTW family  share in their sorrow .  FRIENDS ALWAYS BUDDY  3506 ALONZO PLACE  TA 3 2922 .

  • Hey Emily:  I'm trying to get a picture posted with me twirling my baton and performing some of the routines that we did back in 1967 and even routines before 1967, because those before then routines were taught to me by my sisters Gloria and Mary, as we practiced on our patio at home. Now the young girl/lady who is next to Juanita is Juanita's daughter Trena Bradley.  Gloria came late, therefore she missed out on this picture.  The two other older sisters: Evelyn and Winifred (Winnie) didn't make this function.  Thanks for the wonderful comment Emily.
  • Deborah, I love looking at all the pictures that you post...I think my favorites
are the sister-hood photos. The "white attire" photos are beautiful. Please
    keep them coming.
