Great shot Cecil. I'll have a chopped link basket; sliced beef basket with fries and a Woosie grape soda to go. How much was that? $1.20....good! Madear only gave me $1.25. Whew! lol
Now, that's what I'm talking about....The best corner in town. The place where everything happened. Just seeing this building brings back a lot of memories. Especially the years of singing Doo Wop with my homies! Oh! And I should mention that Frank & his wife Melba, owned Papa Dad's. Melba was my cousin, so I had special dibs on the 'Q. :-) I don't think we will ever have a period like that one again. What a wonderful time it was to be young!
GIVE ME AN ORDER OF BREAKS AND A LINK SANDWICH PLEASE.LET'S SEE HOW ABOUT ONE SWEET POTATO PIE AND A BOTTLE OF NEHI STRAWBERRY. GIVE ME A RIB SANDWICH FOR MY GRANDMOTHER, THE SHORT END.

I can taste the link sandwich now, what a taste. It's never been matched in all
these years. What a time.......
I remember the great taste, there is nothing like it today. It was the best Bar-B- Que in town.
