  • Cassie I forgot to tell you the deer don,t belong to you but no one can hunt on your property without you say so. Google high fence hunting and you can get an idea what it is. Clarence
  • Hi Cassie, an axis deer is a exotic deer from another country, you don,t need licience to humt them. most farmers fence them in and charge people to hunt . Those deer on your property can jump a fence 8 to 10 feet high from a stand still. The farmers where we hunt fence them in about ten feet fences and plant food plots at a gate and close the gate to trap them in.
  • Mayberry, school me; what's a Axis deer...I have families of deers walking around on my properties, some one told me to put up deer feeders and enjoy looking @ them. I thought when I put up the barbed wire fence they would keep out, but they are jumping over the fence...How high can they jump? Do they belong to me if they come on my property?

They are really pretty to watch, especially when it snowed.
I will be waiting to hear from you.
  • Looks like field dressing has already started. Got any deer sausage left, Clarence? [LOL]
