The former Ms Gwendolyn (Gwen) Jones served as Miss BTW '66.After graduation she met and married Roderick (Rod ) Fisher, SOC. The marriage produced three children, Robyn (Dallas), Kimberley (H'Town) and Christopher (Atlanta). Having retired from SBC (now AT&T) Gwen volunteers at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.Gwen and Rod are the proud Grandparents of three future 'Homecoming Queens' ages 11, 5, and 8 months.Gwen says the most influential teachers for her were Ms. Butler and Ms. Ross, though she thanks all of them.Rod and Gwen reside in the Oak Cliff area. Both are strong community activists.
