  • I totally agree!  So very well said.

  • Without a doubt Eve,

Some of us, safe to say most, dropped the ball; the degree to which family experiences, such as we've discussed are rare.  The family structure has changed tremendously; for example, same sex marriage now threatens the very essence of procreation.  Its ugly out there and everywhere when God's word no longer holds value, as it once did.

    Peace In my friend...

  • My dear Mr. "In Peace",

Could it be that our generation contributed to the critical situation that our children and grandchildren are faced with today? Could it be, in our efforts to obtain "stuff", that we put aside the most valuable of assets that woven together gave us moral fabic, integrity, love, kindness, value, and the love "for" God?  For we know Matthew 6:33  tells us, to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, then all those "things" (stuff) will be added unto us.  Could it be?

    Eve

  • Yep,

Our dads, were from the old school and did well with their families, a far cry from today...smh (shaking my head), wow.  I can laugh with you, some, lol, but today's family is in crisis and I'm very thankful to have been born when I was, straight talk Eve,

    Peace In

  • I can see that similarity.  Frederick Douglass the American social reformer, orator, writer and statesman.  My dad, the great statesman, the great authority reminder, the king of his castle, the rule maker of his castle and the love of my mom's life.  Yep, he and Frederick Douglass, had much in common, besides the physical similarities.

    Laugh with me.....

    Eve

  • Sort of puts you in the mind of Frederick Douglas, from my view, our greatest orator!
  • Girl....I simply love this picture.  I have a picture of my Daddy, when he was little boy, around the age of 5...wearing a white gown and he's bare feet.  Good picture Evelyn...good picture.
