I'll never grow up either! Thank you so much, Carolyn for frst....I learned something :D I'm going to keep you and Chucky in my prayers. Again, God bless you!
Thanks 'Ev".... I'm never at home during this time since the death of my husband, but I think I'll do a little table tree for me and and another for Chucky (my son in the nursing home). It will lift both our spirits im sure. I'll never grow up...lol, and thats FRST....(for real straight talk)! I never thought of minimizing the decor. but that'll work!!!
Thanks, Carolyn. I love to decorate for the Holidays. I always did so even as a child. Shardae is so excited about Christmas and sheloves to decorate as well. Don't stop decoratin! Somehow, I believe it continues the childlike spirit in us while enhancing the "real spirit" of the season. I wish you the best Christmas ever. May God continue to bless you and bring the peace and transquility so needed in the life that we live. Be blessed, my sister.
'Ev' this is a beautiful scene. You guys did a wonderful job. I want to see it when Shardae is there under the tree opening her gift(s). Its been awhile since I've witnessed that exciting spirit of children @ Christmas. I have the spirit, but I don't decorate anymore.
You are so funny! Yep, she and I had a time working with what "not" to put on the tree. She is really a lovely spirit and she thinks that I'm pretty smart.....ha, ha. I got her fooled for now. She often says, "granny you are so smart". I think that she is only repeating what I say to her. Anyway, your comments are always timely, appropriate and appreciated! HaPPy HoLiDaYs......
Thanksgiving is over and the Christmas decorations are up...so the story begins: "T'was the night before Christmas...when all through the house...not a creature was stirring...ooops....it's Shardae...I wonder what she is doing?" Smile
How sweet and so innocent! (Evelyn, you set this scene up so beautifully...that I had to comment.)
