This young man was awarded the BTWAA 2009 Scholarship Award. The $1000 award will be used to offset some housing expenses at his school. He intends to persue a singing career, probably opera. When asked he said he had heard of Willie Hutch and that there is an award in his name, though not yet being awarded. We wish him well, as we do all of the applicants.
