BTW RELAY WINNERS

Knowing everyone can enjoy these GREAT memories is one of the most satisfyingly rewarding things about our website network! One of Booker T. Washington's stellar sprinters, Lee Charles "Archie" Cooper, blessed us Saturday with this and the 2 other pictures put up earlier today, and having a scanner and upload capabilities Archie is a few days away from having, I actually put these up for him. [I've long had it on my "to do list" to request to the network's web engineers to make it possible for a Network Creator to upload pictures under the name of a member who provides them.]

Our buddy Chuck Wilson uploaded a few days earlier several other articles and pictures from this "golden age" of Dallas Tri-Hi track and field. In addition to playing football with these excellent athletes, Chuck was also track team trainer and manager, so he saw our track excellence from the inside as it was developed. Hopefully others will share their pictures with us from these great nostalgic histories. It doesn't matter the condition of your photos and articles -- they are all GOLD to us!!

I remember that event I was there cheering the track team on. The year was 1964 and we were excited about winning. Wow! That was my senior year, excellent picture Galen.
