Ya'll I see Sam (Popeye) every Sunday. He works at my church - Good Street Baptist Church. When I see Popeye every Sunday, I just have to touch him and he touch me with a big hug, because we both know that we are so blessed to still see one another and still able to be standing up...and on our own. It is always a joy to see Popeye...and when he calls my name (Deb) I can tell that it somebody that knows me from years ago. It's just that "tone" in his voice that wakes up my memories of our childhood friends...and Popeye is one of mine. Now to my girlfriend Carolyn Wilson, whom I call "Wilson Pickett," girl the last time I saw you was at Minyards on Camp Wisdom with you and your sister Adrian...(I hope I spelled her name correctly.) But it was so good to see you Wilson Pickett and it is always a pleasure to see you because I have always loved seeing you laugh, because your whole body "shakes" and it let's me know that something said "was" funny to you. And I love the hat. Take care my friend(s), take care....until we meet again! Love you both. And Popeye...I'll see you Sunday...smile.
