About Me:
I was the only student that Dr. Patton chose to works as a student aid in his office. Dr. Patton was one of my biggest supporters at BTW, and would always compliment me whenever I performed with the Dance Club. I really wanted to be a professional dancer, however, my mother teamed up with Dr. W. Rittig, the Dean at LGP, and sent me to Bishop College, where I attended school on a Ford scholarship. I went on to become the 1st Black Model on the Sanger Harris College Board. Miss Kappa 1969-70.- Bishop College. Moved to Houston, where I worked as an educator, and 29 years as a counselor. Organized a nonprofit company (SOMO) that will sponsor youth programs as well as help build homes and rehab older homes for our senior citizens and low-to-moderate income individuals.
