  My name is Josephine Chance. I used to play with a girl name Faye Helen Brooks at J.w.Ray Elementary School. I don't know if you're the same. Her Mother's name was Helen Brooks & they lived in the projects, I think on Washington. At the time I lived on Clyde Lane. Your Mother was good friends with my Aunt Madie.   Faye Helen (LOL) not just Faye H! P.S. you know how we put the 1st and middle name together as one. I would love to see you and Carolyn. I might be visiting Scripps Ranch area again and would be nice for us to meet up. My dream is to go on another 3 hr dinner cruise on The Hornblower. Faye Helen, I danced for WELL over an hour straight. The band fell in love with me and I requested Al Green, Marvin Gaye and on and on. The BAND needed a break and so did I. (smile) I try to enjoy every minute of my life now because the reality of it all is that --we are closer to death than ever. Amen! I told Bobbie Jean about your Mom's picture from the banquet. Her picture was so nice. Every summer when the family visited Ms. Lola Mae, they would call and tell me the Brooks was in town but I never could make it over. I think we called Leon "Douglas" and you lived next door to the Tarrants or Walter Travis.
