  I'm sure you don't remember me, but my name is Vicki Smith and I graduated in 1969.  Nonetheless, I think that I mentioned to you in a Facebook post that the class of 69 has lunch together every 3 months ;  the next one is scheduled for Saturday, August 18th at 4:00pm.  As soon as Billie Aldridge West confirms the restaurant we'll contact you again.  There is other good news !  At this August 18th meeting we will decide what kind of trip or celebration we will have .... AND make plans to re-create our commencement at Booker T in the spring.  I've aleady spoken to the principal and he and DISD want to help.  We want the other classes to "march" too, so that includes your classmates from '66.
