    Harvard University Announcement

No tuition and no student loans

Harvard University announced over the weekend that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families will pay no tuition. In making the announcement, Harvard's president Lawrence H. Summers said, "When only ten percent of the students in elite higher education come from families in the lower half of the income distribution, we are not doing enough. We are not doing enough in bringing elite higher education to the lower half of the income distribution."

If you know of a family earning less than $60,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school soon, Harvard University wants to pay the tuition. The prestigious university recently announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families can go to Harvard for free... no tuition and no student loans!

To find out more about Harvard offering free tuition for families making less than $60,000 a year, visit Harvard's financial aid website at: http://www.fao.fas.harvard.edu/ or call the school's financial aid office at (617) 495-1581.

SEND TO SOMEONE WHETHER THEY CAN USE OR NOT. THEY JUST MIGHT KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN.

Don't ask God to guide your footsteps if you're not willing to move your feet!
    • WOWWWWW Ella!!! All college-savings opportunities are great, but this one TOTALLY rocks!! From the Harvard page link you provided,
parents of families with incomes below $60,000 are not expected to contribute at all to college costs. We no longer consider home equity as a resource in our determination of a family contribution, and students are not expected to take out loans,

This clearly seems to come from a deeper-than-experimental change in Harvard philosophy -- let's hope it's permanent and it spreads like wildfire to other institutions. Thanks, Ella!!!!
  • Galen,
A Woman of God Ministries have two types of businesses that are geared for real go-getters who want to work their own business and be independent. One is for someone who wants to coach or mentor others. I became a coach for this organization after going through three training sessions learning their system of coaching. This is great for speakers, writers, teachers, preachers, or anyone who wants to learn to be a life coach. For more information e-mail me with your name, phone number, address, and my associate will get in touch with you.

The other is a beautiful home decorating business that offers only inspirational pieces from serving pieces to wall hangers, pictures, vases and much more. This business is on the party plan like Mary Kay. People who enjoy decorating or shopping for pretty and inspirational things for the house would thoroughly enjoy this. I am a representative for this company. For more information e-mail me your name, address, phone number and my associate will contact you.
