Calling All Baby Boomers

Hey BB's, do you have any idea how powerful a group Baby Boomers are? We are the largest age group in American History. We created and pushed the world into this age of high tech. Within our lifetime and with our help we have forged more innovations and bridged more frontiers than any generation before us. We are awesome (and we coined this word)!! Some of you have a little grey creeping in and yet you wake up feeling just as you did at age 16. Pull up a virtual chair and let's talk about what you want to either do or see come about in the future.

HEY BB'S IM BILLY-BOB; A BB MYSELF.....I'M WONDERING JUST HOW WE CAN MAKE A GREATER IMPACT ON OUR YOUNGER GENERATION? IT SEEMS AS THOUGH WE HAVE SAT ASIDE AND ARE AFRAID OF BEING HURT IF WE TRY CORRECT OUR YOUNG PEOPLE TO HAVE GOOD PRINCIPLES THAT PARENTS GAVE US. THEY ARE STIL WORTHY OF INITIATING. WE JUST HAVE TO TRUST GOD IN ALL THAT WE DO FOR HIM. AND IT IS OUR RESPONSIBLITY TO TEACH AND TRAIN OUR YOUNGER PEEPS! GOD BLESS. WHERE IS THAT TOUGHNESS WE DISPLAYED WHEN WE WERE CONFRONTED? WE HAD RACIAL ISSUES;JOB ADVANCEMENTS PROBLEMS,ETC. YET WE WERE COURAGEOUS TO KEEP FIGHTING FOR WHAT WE WANTED.. WE NEED TO LOVE OUR YOUNG PEOPLE AND BEFRIEND THEM, HELP THEM,LOVE THEM AND/OR INTERACT WITH THEM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I PRAYTHAT WE JUST DON'T SIT BY AND WATCH THEM DESTROY THEMSELVES .

I like the "wake up feeling just as you did at age 16" part. All jokes aside ... sometimes I truly do ... it's a marvelous feeling. (Then on some of those days I go out and over-do it. Duh.)

I wonder if we could file a class-action suit to get paid for collectively modernizing the world (?) I'd say it we're worth it. Ya think?

I just love being a Baby Boomer! I'm having fun! Oh but don't forget! We are also the first generation with a need to "find our inner selves" and "Turn on, tune in, drop out." :(
