The great amazing Four Step Brothers...later just "The Step Brothers". I loved watching these guys growing up and my brother and I used to try to copy their steps at home. [We couldn't do neatly that, but I'll bet Edmond Anderson & Manzell Senters could back then. Ed, Manzell & groups like this are why I started taking tap at the YWCA on State Street.] These men used to practice their acro tap with no gym mat or for that matter a dance studio. Everything was done outside on the streets. In the early days they had no music and use to keep rhythm by clapping and stomping their feet while the other danced. Growing up I craved watching these guys tap on The Ed Sullival Show and others.
