  Exactly, we are on the same page Carolyn, no one knew of IRENE beforehand. (That could have been it) agrees with your thoughts completely.

  But the presentation of MLK and the March was scheduled before IRENE. Registration has been down long before we knew anything about her.  I bet the two offset each other.  Those who would be interested in attending both of them were torn.

  Clyde, I saw where the march had been cancelled.  Bummer.  But, the presenting of MLK's Monument, scheduled also,  for this weekend might have been a reason for the under March Regisration too, Imo.

  .......Brother, I'm hurt also...smh, and became aware of this a couple of weeks ago; but in attempt to answer your question, Why? Under March Registration on the website, I found this:

  First, this above aspect wasn't marketed as well as it should have been and secondly, its apparent the desired amount wasn't raised. 
  
  The goal of marshaling 1 million folks at 10 dollars a head would have generated lucrative funds requiring detail accounting of its purpose and use. 
  
  Please don't misunderstand me as coming down on the person or persons of this grand idea, but the fine print is missing and so is the March.

  Correct Charles, our current system of jurisprudence is now based upon arbitrary law, whatever works for the populous and the majority...example, same sex marriage...smh(shaking my head).  Its all up in the air, so to speak.  A decline of morals, which cannot be legislated, rules the day and points to the End Times, for real, in my view.
