  • So sorry to hear Of Mrs. Boson passing.  She was one our great ladies in Dallas and well loved.  My prayers go out to Sandra and the rest of the family.  Thanks Sheryl for letting us know.

  • Yes, Boston's Shoe Shop, one of the treasures of South Dallas at that time. Boston's was the best shoe repair shop in Dallas. I would often do advertising for them on KNOK radio. I met quite a few people from North Dallas (White) and of course most if not all of the professionals and locals in the Black communities. I think that was the last time I saw Sandra.
  • What a wonderful surprise to see Ms Mittie, she and Mr Boson were best friends with my mom and dad, Ms Edwina Mason, Ms Dorothy Whitmore and a few more, they played cards frequently back then. I would love to hear from her or Sandra, does anyone know how to reach them?
  • You are right on the money.. Mr. Boson's shoe shop was in SUNNY SOUTH DALLAS ON OAKLAND AVE.

    Mrs. Boson is also the mother of Sandra Craig, my classmate and a 1961 graduate of BTW.
