That was were I was really coming from Bobie. True, it isn't about his hair or his complexion...right...right...right, but it's what's in your Spirit...inner soul... or in your HEAD...knowledge... is really what matters! I haven't clicked on India Aire's song yet, but I'm sure it will be something close to what we're talking about. Hey Deborah! I used to go and cheerlead at all of Anthony's games and love love love doing it. Since we are waaay up north the games are held almost in Oklahoma in little towns like Gainsville and Whitesboro (YIKES!) And 1 or 2 were actually in OK. Next year we will have more of a diverse mixture of ethnicities and cultures on the team and at the school. Pray for the children who are in schools that may not be as sensitive in areas of race relations as they should be.
My grandson Anthony's 14 year old brother has been growing his hair and has been wearing a huge afro So this past weekend he got braids. One of the male teachers asked him why didn't he get his hair cut instead of getting braids. This teacher says from now on he's going to call my grandson Snoop Dog. omg Omg OMG!
Bobie....you need to get on the side line (put on) a "cheerleader uniform" on and cheer for your grandson...hahaha. (And I love the "red" uniform...lol)
