  • Hey High-Low...loosen up....Anelda "{is}" going home with you. -Smile - Beautiful couple! Now let us see you two break out and "Bug"...you do know what I mean when I say "Bug?"...today's world it is called: Swing out!  hahaha  [Better yet...keep it slow and smooth and easy...and savor the moment...for it is beautiful!]

  • right, right...I understand Deborah.

    Peace In,

    Clyde

  • He was called High-Low because one of his legs is shorter than the other...and he walked with a high-low limp...but that "wasn't" to make fun of him either...just his nick name.
  • Well,

I only visited the Projects...Estella Rose Smith, lol...So, High-Low is new to me, but yes, he did go for bad and always tickle me though.

    Peace In,

    Clyde

  • Clyde, that is what a lot of us called Wesley- High-Low - as we grew up in the North Dallas Projects. He was tough too...smile...but he was always sweet to us Young sisters, and I'm sure others can testify to that too. (But doesn't he look good with the weight on...I think so.)
  • Naw, naw...not Wesley Crawford, its been a minute; but Deb, you are right, High-Low is a good nick name for Wesley and he had the personality to match too, wow!

    Peace In,

    Clyde

  • Sorry about the grammatical error below: meant to say "our parents had to buy a Simplicity pattern and make dresses". Each class had a different dress.

  • Mr Cowen was the principal of BFD. Ms Boyce & Mr Taylor was PE teachers. Ms Glass had class but Ms Carr was the prettiest. Ms Echols was the teacher that took me under her wings and started making me speak on various programs. Ms Sweatt's daughter's name was Mary and she had a very successful dance studio. Ms Sweatt was built nicely and endulged in fitted sweater dresses.

Do you all remember May Day and wrapping the May Pole on the hard top of Darrell? The queen was always presented and our parents had to by a Simplicity pattern and make dresses.

Do you remember the little brown bank book from Republic Bank in which we banked in our homeroom class once a week?

Do you know why we were not fat? We walked to church, Sears, Cobb Staduim, downtown, Rexall, BTW etc.....just everywhere we went.

P.S. Our President was awesome. And no offense, but please don't have another Republican as Guest Speaker at the next Class Reunion. Let's just keep it real!! LOL

  • Uh oh, wow...Deb has your memory failed you that bad.  I don't believe it.  I know you remember looking out that window.. (if you did).  Now think about it some more.
  • Your memory is not serving you well, my dear friend. I do remember you watching the kids play outside when you should have been listening;having to have the last word and with attitude I must add; smart - yeah; respectful - you did not have a choice in the matter. Ha, Ha.

I do remember Ms Brown;and Ms Sweat, she liked Charles Hill.  She called him Chase.  Ms Glass was my favorite teacher.  Now, that was class.  She impressed me with her writing, and she was the first teacher who told me, that I should write.

Peggy died last year of cancer.  A friend of friend told me when she was in the hospital.  Ok, gotta go, my President is on and I should be watching
