IF THE STORES SOLD IT, WE HAD OUR OWN DUPLICATION. GIRLS MADE DOLLS OUT OF POP BOTTLES. WE PLAYED TOPS,JACKS,I HAVE MORE ,BUT IT MORE FUN HEARING FROM YOU.I USE TO LOVE COUNTING MY MARBELS.
You are sooooo correct on both. I really remember the lighten bug...the rings glowed in the dark...but didn't last long. But I thought we bent the soda caps and made "band" rings. Maybe not...again...you are much older than me....lol.
We also used the ends of the mop to make hair for us and dolls....and used the mop stick as a stick horse and we would ride on the mop stick. We also used to put Christmas tree ice sicles in our hair.
What was your Christmas experience? Prizes will be given out...so go for it.
Calling all Bulldog Fellas: I need an answer to Buddy's quiz on how to make a toy drum. Let the campus hear from you. Buddy, is giving a prize if you answer correctly. I've tried my answer, but from Buddy's stand point...it is not the way that the fellas made their toy drums...so come on and tell us girls how to make a toy drum. Look forward to hearing your creations of your toy drum...hahahaha
Poo...poo...poo...that's not true. I bet the fellas don't know how to make a drum...I want to hear from them. Now let me get back to combing my baby doll's rope hair because if becomes an Afro...hahahahaha
That's why you are my brother, because you know so much about me and what I can do. Yes, I can a doll...but you don't need to know how...I'll let the bulldog girls tell you. And yes, I was definitely a back to school Sears shopper...I even had a catalog that we ordered some items from...but Madear also made alot of our clothes when we were little girls. That you know too...because again...you are my brother. Now get off of me and tell the campus how to make a homemade drum.

Since you were able to dig deep down within Ms Talk Radio and tell the truth , I have a solution for you . I know that you used those pop bottle and rope. I know that you talked talked to that homemade doll.I know that you comb and brushed that rope. You probably made that soda water bottle some clothes I know if you dropped it on the side walk you had to be careful not to cut your hands.I will allow a Bulldog Fellow to step forward and tell you how we made homemade drums. Calling on another smart kid like myself to share how we made drums. Galen ,Chuck ,Carl ,Atwell or any creative genius like myself.
Mr. Piano Man...my only reply to you is....what is the answer??????? I Know where Sears is located....I just didn't know what bus to take...but since you are a bus expert...I'll take your word of what bus to ride...haaahaha. And since you know that I am not a guy...[Fella]....then why would I know how to make a drum....quiz answered///// heehaw.
